A book manifests a new design paradigm that celebrates a fluid and non-binary way of thinking and making. This book is part of a capstone for the MFA thesis, Gender-Fluid Design, at Pratt Institute’s Graduate Communications Design department. It is a critical rewrite of Universal Principles of Design, which defines design through a generic and heteropatriarchal lens. For now, six gender-fluid design principles respond to six selected universal design principles included in folds within the book.
