A visual identity for a mobile app that helps foster parents document their children’s journey and connect with case managers.

The visual identity adopts line art and squiggles as a visual language. Line art symbolizes a pathway that points families in the right direction. The squiggle is a thicker iteration of the line art, symbolizing connection and each family’s unique journey.

The app ThriveWell is powered by Miracle Foundation, an international nonprofit that helps orphans and foster children find a safe, stable, and permanent family. The ThriveWell logomark is derived from the Miracle Foundation lotus icon to symbolize the parent-company subsidiary relationship between the two. The color palette is developed based on the Miracle Foundation color palette, with additional pops of blue, green, and yellow to add visual interest and sophistication. Accessibility concerns are at the center of the visual identity. Thus, the brand applications feature thoughtful pairings of colors.

As a designer, I helped develop multiple directions for client presentations and the final brand system. I independently completed the brand guidelines.
